RDworksV8 plugin not working for corelDRAW graphics suite 2018
This video describes what should be happening...i doesnt work. i get no icons, only error messages(corel draw not installed) does anyone know if its due to the newer software version...or my stupidity??...sorry...graphics suite 2017Similar Threads:

Greylee,It does work however the installation process is not documented very well.

the video shows(again CDxversion.)...however the screen shot offers some hope.....but even tec support for corel & rd works says it wont work

Did anyone else install RDWorks onto CorelDraw 2018?
I tried following the below, downloaded the Version shown below and Followed the YouTube Video but can't get past the first Install Screen.
When I select CorelDraw Laser, then check "Plug LaserWork" it says "Can't find the installation of CorelDraw" if I check "Locate install path" and select "c:/Program Files/Corel/CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2018" Folder, it asks for the CorelDraw version and the latest shown there is "CorelDraw 12". Selecting that it gives and Error "Install Failure"I have looked on Youtube but can't find any help there.

Ken,Certain versions of RDworks have compatibility issues.

2: Download and install this version of RDworks http://www.rabbitlaserusa.com/Driver...tup8.01.26.exe during the CorelDraw portion of the installation you must select version 8 not version 12

Hello Jeff, Thanks for the Help, much appreciated! I have 2 versions installed, X8 and 2018, I have tried to "Locate Install Path" for both X8 and 2018 but still getting an error.
Selecting the Folder "CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X8" and X8 shows the error "Install Failure"
Selecting the Folder "CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2018" and X8 also shows the error "Install Failure"
So is there a folder within the above directories that I need to select?

Did you try the 8.01.26.exe version of RDworks?

Thanks Jalessi, I had tried the Latest version of RDWork so I tried the 8:01.26.exe and all worked up until trying to run the Macro in CorelDraw. I have attached the Dialog before and after pressing Run

Ken,Unfortunately I have seen users that have installed another version of RDworks first and had the error you are experiencing.
The solution I have found is to completely remove all versions of RDworks, make sure you remove "C:\RDWorksV8" then completely remove CorelDraw and start over first install CorelDraw 2018 then install the RDworks version I have suggested.
Let us know how you progress.

Thanks Jeff, Un-installed everything and Re-installed everything.
No Errors this time, until I tried to send a test to RDWorks and got the error below.
I re-installed RDWorks, tried again but the same error. Tried RDWorks directly just to see if it worked and the exported Test loaded with RDWorks.So Yes its Working but No it isn't :-) I searched for the dll but came up with nothing.

Ken,How are you sending a test to RDWorks without CorelDraw installed?
Please explain in detail, step by step, what you are doing, so that I can replicate the issue.

Oh I thought I'd replied to this but seems I must have forgotten to press Send.Here are the Steps I took
1) Un-installed CorelDRAW 2018
2) Uninstalled RDWorks
3) Installed CorelDRAW 2018
4) Installed RDWorks
all worked as planned to here.
5) Added RDWorks to CorelDRAW
6) Drew a Rectangle and Circle, Clicked on the RDWorks Toolbar Icon and got an Error and RDWorks didn't load
7) Went to the Start Menu and Ran RDWorks and it loaded with the correct results.
